Sybase nntp newsgroup at forums.sybase.com were shutdown at the end of March this year. The read-only format of the archive that Mark points out is NOT searchable, so is nearly useless. I'd advise you to use google search to find old discussions.
TeamSybase which use to moderate the old newsgroups is not involved in this SAP forum except as SCN members themselves.
