I have had quite a few request from developers recently about enabling the option - 'ddl in tran',true
I know in the past this was discourage but in recent times Sybase has made most system tables datarows so the impact in system tables have been significantly reduced.
I would like to know if there are any cons in enabling this option. The main reason they are asking for this is to allow them to create temporary tables in stored procedures which are being called from transactions.
