Hi
When ASE (15.7 sp60) starts up in Windows environment, it sets (or removes) the permissions for the error.log file.
I have to do Right-click the error.log, Advanced, Continue, Enable inheritance, Apply, to watch the error.log file.
Why is ASE doing this? Can I tell ASE somehow not to do it?
Or do I have to wrap the service with some powershell code to turn inheritance on again after startup?
Regards
