I think the current release hasn't setup info in the windows registry for msdev 2013. An upcoming release might resolve this. I don't know exact eta yet, I'll have to get back on that.
As for the EF 6.0 - this is on the radar but not yet supported. I am not sure yet on ETA for release, but right now we are just getting provider to work with EF 4.5 at a minimal level.
I'd say when next SDK release is available to install and check if visible in the DDEX on msdev 2013 and try it with EF 6.0 - if using standard calls, should work, but I am not sure how different the EF 6 is from 4.0 and higher.
