There is, unfortunately, currently no way to tell ahead of time whether loading a database dump on a different platform will fail or succeed due to this reason. Ideally what you'd want is that the 'load database' command would tell you the dump cannot be loaded correctly all the way, but do so *before* it starts loading rather than you having to find it out at the very end as currently.
As it happens, there is an ASE feature request open for this, namely CR 548251. If you feel strongly about this feature what you can do is open a case with SAP/Sybase Techsupport and request that yor case be linked to CR 548251. This won't make an immediate difference but it helps to increase visibility as well as chances of getting this addressed.
