Not really.
If the system clock jumps forwards, the ASE internal clock will jump ahead eventually.
If the system clock jumps backwards, the ASE internal clock slows down for the system clock to catch up.
Personally, I never understood why servers are using any other time than UTC. Let the client applications deal with local time.
