ASE - Storage on big lun or to split - "Best practice"

Hi

I am using ASE 15.7 data server on Linux on central storage. I have couple of databases (5-7) at the data server.

Currently, all data server devices reside on a single storage lun. which is simple to manage. ( Snapshots, etc) - the lun size is 1.1 TB.

there is a new request to increase one of my databases by additional 400GB.

My Question:

Should I keep using single storage lun and increase it to 1.5 TB or it is "too big" and I should plan to move my production to few luns: for example 3 luns of 500 GB each?
