Hi Kevin,
Many points jump into my head right know:
- What about overall system activity? Its system going on under a heavy load? Waitting on a run queue after sleep may be because of no engine available to take the task.
- What about the process? How many logical reads does it have? Considering a good IO response on 2-6 ms you are having many physical IOs on 158500 ms. Perhaps there is a big table scan going on.
- I think the ASE version may be another point, 15.7 Threaded Kernel cames into the scene in order to reduce this waits.
I don´t know exactly if event 29 also increments event 215 but I don´t think so. There are plenty of MDA evangelists here so perhaps you get a better answer.
Hope helps.
Javier.
