Something to bear in mind, SAP do not guarantee the ordering of results when you do not use the ORDER BY clause - even if there is a clustered index. If the order of results is important, you need to specify the ORDER BY clause.

As a side note, a contributing factor might be the endianness of the platform - assuming you are comparing Solaris on SPARC and Linux on Intel, which are different.
