How to improve backup in Sybase ASE

Current Setting :

1) version 15.5   -- will be migrated soon 16

2) shared memory in backup server : -m1296

3) DB size :   1814 GB   / Used Data : 1629 GB

4) Current backup time :  approx 5 hours

5) Backup running Six stripe with compression level 6

6)  'max parallel degree'  is One (1) --> So no parallel processing

Appreciate your recommendation .

Will   sp_dumpoptimize 'archive_space=minimum'   will help ?
