The parameter value of the database, for "CIPC regular message pool size" was set at 49152. It was lower than that in SP122 and I updated it while going to SP136 because my QA environment was complaining about the low value (but the latter is less used than my prod!).
An unfortunate sleeping process that was blocking tens of other processes forced me to reboot my database on saturday, I then increased to 150000 and database is still complaining, less but still.
Value for "CIPC large message pool size" is 2048
Based on sp_monitorconfig, Max_used for CIPC Large pool is 75 and CIPC regular pool is 120005 (even though I have messages in my log telling me the system reached the max a few time. I also have the following message that I have overlooked before :
"CIPC free messages are below the red watermark. This caused failure to allocate messages required for multicast transmission. Consider increasing the CIPC message pool size."
