Branching from ASE v15.7/ESD#4.2, there are two codelines:
> SP50 & up == bug fixes alone
> SP100 & up == new features and some bug fixes
You can choose to apply either SP60 or SP110 over ESD#2, based on the business/app requirements for this system.
Since these are two separate codelines, the installers for each also fall along those lines & therefore, there might be some bug incompatibilities seen when moving between these 2 versions. Moreover, SP60 is newer/released after SP110. One way to check if the releases involved are 'compatible', is to
via the following command.
1> select @@sbssav
2> go
If the @@sbssav value exists in the "sourcesps" property in the <install_image>/archives/asemanifest.mf file, the move between the said versions should be okay.
