I appreciate you responses.
I'm not intending to change anything, just want to move the database from the AIX environment to Windows Server. This is quite a small application with less than 10 users and small database.
If it were MS SQL I would do a backup and restore. If it were Oracle I would do a full database export and import the schemas I wanted to keep. In both cases I would manually create the user accounts, creating 10 accounts will not be a great hardship.
